About this expedition
Arusha is the gateway to this northern Tanzania journey. Around Ndutu, the grass is short enough to see a wildebeest calf learning to keep pace with the herd. Farther into the Serengeti, grassland opens around rocky kopjes and scattered trees. The change of terrain gives the two parts of this expedition very different photographic possibilities.
Arusha → Ndutu → Serengeti. One night in Arusha, two in Ndutu and four in the Serengeti.
