Wildlife photography with Deepak Shankar

Deepak founded Shutter Monks Expeditions around wildlife photography tours, private guided safaris, and learning in the field. He is listed as a Nikon India Creator. His approach brings observation, animal behaviour and visual storytelling into the photography experience.

On an expedition, his mentorship can include thinking through camera settings, observing animal behaviour and choosing how to tell a story with a photograph. The specific format varies by trip; each itinerary describes the guidance and activities offered.

Shutter Monks lists scheduled wildlife photography journeys in India, Africa and the Arctic, alongside private journeys. Deepak's current host role is shown on the relevant departure page.
